Another Katrina Q
Something that i was thinking about just now...
So where is the money that is going to be sent from all other countries?????
I feel that we (meaning the US) are called upon to help out other countires in disaster...
But yet when we are in need...nobody is to be found, except our own people

I agree. But we are the country most in debt. We owe so many people so much money that I think it cancels itself out sort of

I heard Bush Sr. and Clinton about 30 min ago saying that several countries in Europe have offered money. Even Sri Lanka, which is still trying to recover from the tsunami and is a really poor county has offered financial assistance.

i hear ya but i don't....
a human suffering is a human suffering...I don't care what we owe anyone...
I look at those people in New Orleans and Miss. just the same as those affected by the tsunami
