Another ? about the swing...
It was brought to my attention that I won't be able to use the swing that I registered for when the baby gets older and is able to sit up...
Did anyone think of this as well?

What swing? Most of them tell you the weight measurement. I thought it was good till a certain weight?
Most babies I know grow out of the swing kinda fast anyway, thats why I also am registering for the jumperoo and a excersaucer

It is very dangerous for a swing to be used when a child can sit up anyway.

I was just wondering if you planned on registering for something when the baby WAS able to sit up and grew out of the swing.

When they grow out of the swing, you can put them in the jumparoo or exersaucer. DS is almost 3 months and over 14 lbs and he still uses the swing. I would say you have around 6 months to use the swing.

Andrew was out of it at 6 months. He then went in a jumperoo and exersaucer.

They can sleep in it and it is a form of entertainment. Infants have an attention span of about 10-15 minutes. I am CONSTANTLY moving DDs from one thing to the next. It's like a Curves gym in here. The more entertainment you have for the baby, the better IMO - so definitely not a waste of money. And think of all the other things only used for a few months - bouncy seat, infant carrier, Bjorn, activity mat, etc.
