does this work?

I have a green/olive/moss colored couch, and cream colored walls. I posted last week about what color curtains to get...I got some good suggestions but I was still so undecided.

I just bought these from PB tonight (the color is Clay). Do you think it will go? They are the silk dupioni curtains and it pained me to spend the money but they are amazing quality and the best I have seen so far. They have to ship me the curtain rod I ordered so I can't try it out just yet.

By the way, in case anyone was looking for one... I got an awesome black *double* curtain rod from pottery barn for $22 on clearance, woot! I am going to hang sheers behind the curtains.

From the picture - those curtains look so beautiful. No way you could pass them up - so great buy!

I definitely think they will work with the room as you described it. The great thing about the colors you have are that they seem to work well together. I love those colors too and have them throughout my house...I honestly find that together they take on a whole new blend vs. when they are apart. Sometimes the olive/moss greens take on a more brown shade when matched up against the beige/brown colors. Either way - it's worth a shot to see how they look. You can always return the curtains if you really hate them, right?
