Thinking back to when...
we first decided to try to get pregnant. I remember feeling nervous (was this the right time/right decision) and excited all at once. It's funny how the feeling of being nervous has been replaced by normallcy - like of course we should be having a baby. I remember how strange it was to be trying to make a baby when for so long we had been trying not to get pregnant.
It was like - at the time we decided we questioned ourselves - would we be good parents and could we handle it - but now I see us talking about the baby and our family so naturally - really kinda cute when I stand back and realize it.
Does that make sense? Just feeling mushy right now.

wait for the birth...the only way I can describe it is--the second that baby comes out u feel like u have 1/2 your soul walking around outside..and u have to protect it.
U will forever question your abilities with them...kind of like wearing your heart on your sleeve and more***

it had to be the hardest decision for me cause I am such a planner and worrier but now it is totally normal, feels like life is the way it is supposed to be and cant wait to meet our little one... your feelings make sense

I felt the same way with my first. Then when he came and was in the world only a few hours I couldnt picture life without him and it felt like he was always their.

I think it makes complete sense. We started trying and got pregnant right away. I don't think either of us expected it to happen that fast so we were both pretty nervous in the beginning. I still get that way sometimes. Like, am I going to be a good mom? What if I do something wrong? DH and I talk about the awe and anxiety of it. It's really pretty amazing though.
