Here's the next update...

My Dh calls her today and asks her why didn't she return the items yesterday and/or call. Of course she made up some excuse.. My dh told her that she better return the items today or he's calling the police and not only report her for stolen property, but for trespassing. She told my dh that she will return all the items today EXCEPT the seeder for the fertilizer...because...get this...it's hers. She then says that if we want, she give us money for a new seeder.

I'm calling my lawyer tomorrow.

Weirdos...you sell a house for hundreds of thousands of dollars and you come back for a few $20 items??? That were easy enough to take in the first place. People are freaks.

When we bought our house we had the owner come over one day and proceed to tell us that there may be a gun hidden in the basement. But that his grandson might have taken it already. It was an old guy who had hip replacement so he couldnt even go down to show us where, couldnt describe where it might be either We pulled the basement apart looking for some hiding spot and never found a gun but I still wonder if its down there. These people had at least 5 secret hiding places that we found around the house.

I'm glad you're fighting this, some people get away with so much because people just don't think it's worth the time.

Elizabeth, you should find someone with a metal detector and see if you can find that thing! If this guy was serious, that's a scary thing to have hiding in your basement! Who knows what else is there...
