Re: Does anyone live in Rochester NY?

Well I dont know any really nice ones....or at least I dont remember!

But Dinosaur BBQ is pretty tasty right on the Gennessee River

Nick Tahous is a Rochester favorite featuring the infamous garbage plate - not the finest of establishments by far....

Sorry I could not be of more help - I was on a college student budget at the time!

HAVE FUN though - I am going up in September. I LOVE IT THERE!!!!

OK -

its a plate with either home fries or french fries

then either macaroni salad or baked beans

with either 2 cheeseburgers, hamburgers or hotdogs on top (no bun)

and "everything" on it (optional)
mustard, onions, and meat sauce

Comes with bread and butter on the side....

I usually drown mine in ketchup and some prefer to drown in hot sauce

It was the meal of choice when you are drunk at 3AM - the lines go out the door!

Holy cow indeed!! But it is definitely better after a few drinks. I ate there once sober and it wasn't all that great Chat Icon

The mall I was thinking of is call the Marketplace Mall. I haven't been there in 8 years so I'm not sure exactly which area it is in.

I hope you find/found a place to stay and eat!
