I am overwhelmed!

Dh and I have been sick for over a week. Today is the first day we are starting to feel a little better, so naturally we want to get stuff done around the house.

The problem is every room needs something...from painting to moulding to unpacking! UGH!!!!!!

Don't know where to start. We have been here 2 months already and I feel the progress is so slow.

Re: I am overwhelmed!

The advice I was given (and I wish I'd followed it to the lettter) was to do one room at a time. DH and I sort of did, but we were so anxious to get it ALL done. So every room has little things here and there- paint to touch up, etc. We wish we'd focused on one at a time and REALLY made sure it was totally done before moving on.

Good advice, continue working on one room, so once that is done, you feel accomplished...
how is the paint coming along in the DR? Can't wait to see it!

Painting is done in the DR. Now we need to paint moudlings and get that up...then pick a chandelier and area rug. Hard to do without the arrival of the furniture just yet.

I think the next room is the LR...so we can get the shelves and wall of fire back up! Chat Icon

Good Idea! Then you'll feel really accomlished since those two rooms will definitely be used for your party.
