Beginning to show

When did everyone begin to show? Also, when did you actually pop? I am trying to figure out a round about time when I have to tell work. I am 10 weeks now, and even though the scale has remained the same, it does seem like my lower stomach is explanding. Just trying to determine when it will be obvious! Thanks!

Re: Beginning to show

about week 16, the top part of my stomach began to grow..that's when you could really tell that I was preggo. By week 20, it was round.

I am just over 13 weeks now and my lower stomach is getting like that too. I just got a bunch of maternity pants from friend yesterday and I am excited to wear them because they are more comfy. But to most people, they wouldn't notice anything yet.

I started to pop at 6 weeks...but it's my second baby. I'm in full blown maternity clothes or sweats now at 8 weeks. Many people don't notice it...but if you look for more than a glance, it's obvious. In fact, I was out with friends last week and hadn't told everyone there [they were my friend's friends] and about 3 hours into the evening, one of them leans over and says "are you pregnant?" Everyone is different...and the timing you need is going to vary as well. With my first I waited nearly 4 months to tell my coworkers and boss...this time, I waited about a week from when I found out...had I not started popping out so soon, I might have waited.

Re: Beginning to show

I think I started to show around 18 weeks or so. I definitely had a belly and people who didn't know would look at me funny with that "Is she or isn't she?" look. Now at 25 weeks it's totally obvious. I seem to have popped even more recently, and some of my original maternity clothes are getting smaller on me. During the first trimester, I thought it was so obvious that I was showing but in reality I was just retaining a lot of water and probably had just the beginning stages of a preggo belly.

I really popped out between 26 and 28 weeks. Before that, I had a pooch but no one could tell it was baby belly except for those close to me.

Re: Beginning to show

i'm at 21 weeks, i still haven't really popped. Close friends and family notice that i have a tiny belly but most people are surprised to hear i'm pregnant.

Re: Beginning to show

I am 18 wks now - and although my clothes aren't fitting me, there is no way at all that anyone would ever think i was pregnant - I put on 2 pounds, thats it - its all in my belly - but - my belly doesnt have that round pregnant look... my dr. tells me it may not happen for me for a few more weeks still....

My belly did pop until about 24-25 weeks. People who did know me noticed my stomach getting bigger but it was still little. I started to wear maternity pants around 20 weeks because it was much more comfortable.
