I hear the Cowgirl Hall of Fame and Trailor Trash are cool restaurants.
In little italy i always love Peasano's.
Johnny Rockets has the best shakes.
OMG....i never heard of those
try the ice cream 'baked potato' at the cowgirl hall of fame! it is to die for!  they have cute tee-shirts too.

it just looks like one- vanilla ice cream, in the shape of a potato, covered in coco powder, split down the middle , with whipped cream (to look like sour cream), 'chives' made of candy.... btw, its HUGE- definitely made for sharing.

DH and I like Me-kong (sp???) a Vietnamese Restaurant in Soho....
We also like to go to St. Marks Place and get cheap CDs and stuff.

My sister lives on the upper west side so I love to go to the boat basin and then walk along the water & sit at the park.
Also - for anyone who hasn't tried it - go to Serendipity! Ice cream is scrumptious!! (insert drooling icon here)

I work near Trailor Trash. It's ok--tiny & a little smelly.
Cowgirl is fun, especially with big groups for birthdays!
I used to LOVE the CP zoo-especially the penguins.
Lately, my favorite thing to do in the city is to leave it!

nothing beats the city at christmastime....although I could do without all the tourists. But I love to walk past the decorated windows on 5th ave.

We love the Divine Bar in the city There are two locations I have been to the one in the 50's around 2nd. They have awesome food and a huge wine and beer list. Cite grill is good(next to Radio City They have a 65$ prix-fixe menu

I was going to say CP too. That is where I realized I was falling in love with my Boyfriend.
That and the Brooklyn Pier overlooking NYC are our favorite dates spot now.

i love the atmosphere in the city.. most of the time when i go in, its to meet up with the girls for drinks and/or dinner. theres so many places to name- cant htink of all
Mercury Bar is fun
Divine Bar- lots of wine
Prohibition- bar/lounge- dads friend owns it
Murphy's Law- irish pub owned by guys who own the bars in Long Beach
The Mermaid Inn- its on 2nd Ave between 5th and 6th street. It is all fish no meat there and the food was DELICIOUS!!!! the wine was great also
