Dh's grandma
Hello Girls,
Im posting this here bc you all have given me so much support.
I just wanted to let you girls know that my DH's grandma passed away yesterday. She passed of a heart attack. She also suffered from depression and became depressed when she learned that she had a lump in her breast. Doctors confirmed it was breast cancer, yet at the time of her death she had no idea. The family was going to inform her yesterday.  She was actually scheduled to have her surgery today. Towards the end, she stopped eating and they had to put her on a feeding tube. I think the combination of her depression, the thought of having cancer, and her heart all did it for her. We are in total shock because aside from her depression, she didn't have any other ailments. She lived a long life 88. DH is upset b/c she was his last living grandparent.
She was very young at heart. One of my fondest memory of her is taking her to see Celine Dion and Josh Groban at madison sq. garden. She was there to see Josh not Celine.  She was so in love with him and she made it known. LOL
Please keep our family in your prayers.
We are headed off to NY tomorrow and will be there until Monday.

Losing a grandmother is soooo hard and sad. I know from personal experience HUGS to you, DH and the whole family during this time.
