North Carolina
Has anyone or someone you know relocated to North Carolina?
We are looking at retirment options and while I would like to stay in NY, the taxes are too much.
We were also looking at Minnesota as I am a winter girl but maybe not THAT much of a winter girl.
I really didn't want to go down south but financially it may be better.

Thanks for the offer. When I brought up the idea again with my husband, he said no way due to the heat and humidilty.
Funny, he was the one who brought up going down to NC in the first place.

He isn't wrong. It is very humid and hot. And if you aren't near the beach (which we aren't) it can be brutal in the summer months. I actually come back to LI for most of the summer.
