need some help from the nurses

while changing Luka today I turned my head for a second to grab a diaper and he peed on his face. (you can laugh because I did). I dont think it went into his mouth but not sure about his eyes. His eyes were closed when I covered his penis to stop it. I gave him a bath after the incident. Should I be concerned and will anything happen if it did get into his eyes. I can't believe this happened very embarassing Chat Icon

Its more common than you think... DS catches himself all the time...

To answer your question, I was watching Oprah when Dr. Oz was on and he said pee is sterile... At this point, its nothing but water anyway...So nothing will happen to him...

not to worry, nothing will happen!

Not only pee at this age is steril, like the pp stated, but it is actually beneficial to the skin. Don't know if you ever heard of the old remedy for infection: you have infection in your fingure (like if you tried to give yourself a pedicureChat Icon Chat Icon) apply cotton ball soaked in child's urine. Works like a charm!

Speaking of which, does anyone remember an old Friends episode when Joey peed on Monica's foot because she got stung by a jellyfish??Chat Icon
