here's a little secret you may not know
I have worked in Pediatrics in a hospital for the last 10 years...When we have a baby with serious tushy rash we use A&D with zinc oxide and our secret ingrediant MALOXX I have even used just maloxx on Sophia and within hours the rash was gone and it takes out the acidic sting so they shouldn't feel the burn...just a little tidbit...take it or leave it

I can second that...
It's all we've used on Caden and it works like a charm...
(Im pretty sure I found out about it on here before he was born. Thought I'd give it a try...and been using it ever since.)

An even easier secret? Buy BORAGE OIL CAPSULES @ your local healthfood/vitamin store, and break open the capsule (just a bit) and drizzle about 1/3 of the oil on the rash with every diaper change. Rash will be gone in 1 day.

okay - so they didn't have regular Maalox at Target - i got Advanced - maximum strength....is that okay???
we should just put it on a cotton ball and put it on her coolie???
eta: emma has had a diaper rash since Wednesday and it's not going away....
have tried: all natural butt paste & a&d ointment.
