Father Day gifts from DC?
What are your kids getting DH or their Dad?
eta- I did try to search to see if this had been done already, got NO results..so the search function is crap but the related topics still works well

just got the idea today- bought a tutu for DD, going to sneak her out for professional pics and frame it for DH's desk at work.
Also going to buy him Rock Band since he's been whining about it for months now!

I bought DH a new BBQ grill. We had one of those small round weber ones. And since him and his friends all think they are Bobby Flay  , he has been saying he wanted a new grill FOREVER! Unfortunately, he is overseas until October, so he got a picture of it with DD sitting on top of it, framed, in the mail

He wanted a calf machine.. but then decided to build it himself.
He wanted a new watchband for the watch he got for Christmas.. but then decided he actually likes the one he has.
He wanted a subscription ot Men's Fitness.. but his friend Frank subscribed him in some 2-fer deal.
He wanted a new bike helmet.. but our friend Jeff went and gave him one.
Soooooo.... from me he gets.. well.. he'll get a replay of how he became a father.
And from the boys? He'll get smothered with hugs and kisses.

the first couple of years i got the t shirts with the pics and the mouse pads that say i love you. but now i am just being practical....im getting him a best buy gift card. it's his fave store and he'd much rather have that than something else with the kids pic on it!!!

I had something made up and personalized from things remembered. I love getting stuff from there. check out their website, they have a bunch of things under the fathers day catergory.

This is my favorite. haha.. my DH needs a frank and jeff to get him the things he wants!!!
My DH is getting a framed photo from our session with summerlyn for his desk at work, and a tie with the picture he loves (DD in the stanley cup) on it....
oh.. and I got him a book he wanted as well.. but he already opened the package the day it arrived 2 months ago... so ill just have to remind him about it

a dog bed. we don't even have a dog...but he wants a dog bed to lay on while he watches tv in the living room. he isn't liking the wood floors and said he needs one.
so that's it....
the first year I was so creative and worked so hard...all pics of leo's fave hobbies...making my 5 month old do them all...made a collage.

DH is a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan so I'm getting a bunch of 2009 Stanley Cup souvineers, baseball hat etc..
And DD is getting a S Penguins Stanley Cup onsie and I'm taking a pic of her in it and framing it for his desk at work :)
Aslso got hime some loung shorts that say Dad on it :)
It's his 1st Dads day!!

Landon got his daddy a new football, since he threw his old one away and lost it one day when they went for a walk!  DH is not a fan of photo mugs, t-shirts, etc. We hate clutter. So the football is perfect. WTG Landon, for losing the old one
