Zpack - Aithromycin (anyone take this while preggers)
I am freakin paranoid and even though my OBGYN said I can take Zpack and Amoxicylin I still feel weird about taken it. Anyone have to or did they feel better after a sinus infection taken it? Thx

Started the zpack yesterday for a sinus infection  I also took it with DD and no issues.

Both my pregnancies I took the z pack got a sinus infection and prescribed cough medicine babies are fine.

I took amoxicillin twice this pregnancy.. Once for an ear infection and once for bronchitis.

I took the zpack for a sinus infection -- no problem. I highly recommend getting some Simply Saline nasal spray - it saved me from getting any more sinus infections while I was pregnant.

I took zpak and Rhinocort and all is fine. It's better for baby to nip an infection in the bud than to let it become bad. Then you'll need heavier duty medication.

I have the worst sinus infection and I am struggling with this as well. After 2 weeks it seems to be getting better, so I am just going to ride it out. I wish I would have taken it and it would be over now.
So if I were you I would take it. feel better!!

Im on amoxicillin now because I had strep. I also had to ake it during my 2nd PG when I got sick. It is a benign antiobiotic. You'll be ok!
