zoom, brightsmile, anyone try these or anything like it?

All those close-ups on the American Idol contestants' faces have made me feel like my smile is inadequate

Has anyone ever done one of those dental teeth whitening things?

I hear they make your teeth sensitive, but I have used Crest Whitestrips and immediately after have brushed my teeth with a whitening toothpaste- u would think that would hurt like no other- but really it was fine! So, I am not so sure I would have those sensitivity problems

I am interested in hearing anyone's experiences with this, like how long it lasts and how drastic the difference is. TIA!

I had Zoom and it made a huge difference! I lightened 9 shades but they still look natural, not fake white. I had some sensitivity that day but then it was fine

I did Britesmile in '04 and I loved it. I was a smoker and I wanted to whiten again afte I quit in '08. I tried the in office Colgate whitening and it KILLLED my mouth, my teeth were sooo sensitive and I don't think it worked at all so I went to Britesmile again and did a touch up. I was very happy with the results. You need to understand that your teeth will not come out as white as people you see on tv because they all have $20,000 veneers!

i did brightsmile and it lightened my teeth but they are not super super white and it hurt like heck the next day! So moral of the story I have to do it again to get it super white.
