Zofran

I have had rezaly bad nasseu and vomiting (Sorry Tmi) so my dr gave me a Zofran and a perscrption to fill. She said to use it only when I really need to. How many of you used this??? Did it work?? Would you recommend it??

I lived on it for the first 25 weeks of my pregnancy.

It is the only way I was able to function for the 1st 4.5 months of my pregnancy at least (well - I got them at 10 wks after I lost 13 pounds)

I took them 3 times a day.

I Had the same issue.

I was taking it 3 times a day for a while.

Im 18 weeks now and just starting to feel a little better, where I dont need 3 a day anymore , but I still throw up here and there.

It worked GREAT for me.

The first time I took it I felt a little loppy for like 20 minutes, then it went away and it never happened again.

i would take it about 1/2 hour before any meal.

For me it only lasted about 1 and 1/2 hours.

Iw as on the 4mg though. I know it comes in 8mg as well.

It caused some constipation for me..BAD...I was taking 2 100mg colace a day to off set that.

I took it too. I was prescribed the 4mg, 3x per day. I am now 23 weeks and I take it once per day. I do find that I still need it to feel "right".

I agree with the pp that said it causes constipation, its icky.

I took it until the day I delivered. It was a lifesaver!
