Zipper broke on my Uggs - what can I do?
My Cargo III Uggs that DH got me last year ... zipper broke. It's just going up on one side now, the other side is out of the zipper pull thing.
I really really don't want a credit or something for them - I know this style was only made last year so I can't imagine them replacing them.
Do you think if I contact Ugg or one of the big department stores (I think Nordstrom takes back Uggs??), they would fix just the zipper?
Should I just take them to a shoe shop? The zipper is the multi color Ugg (black and silver) zipper, so if they were to replace it, it wouldn't match the other boot. Sooooo frustrating! These were expensive!

I had a zipper on my Uggs break too! They weren't the cargo ones though, I'm actually not too sure of the name and I have them for several years (I actually bought them the week I met DH  ) So, for sentimental reasons since I wore them on our first date, I'd rather get them repaired than bring them back to Nordstrom and try to get a replacement!
My plan is to bring them to a shoe repair place. DH says he is pretty confident they will be able to fix it. What happened with mine is, some of the lining got caught in the zipper  . I expect they will able to reattach the same zipper once it's not stuck anymore! I don't think it should be expensive to fix, but that's my plan!

Thanks! It's so annoying because I've only had them one year and really didn't wear them THAT many times!

I had a problem with my Uggs in the past. I sent them back my boots to inspect and they sent me a credit for the full price of the boots. Not sure if that is what you are looking for, but I was pretty impressed that they stood behind their products so well.

I have heard this, but I realllllly want this style and they don't sell them anymore

Update, my trusty shoe place in the city fixed the zipper for me! $10 and they didn't even have to replace the zipper!
