Does anyone have this and want to share pros/cons?

We are remodeling our basement and will be knocking down our existing chimney, so our HVAC guy is suggesting a new unit that won't require a duct.

I'm looking for cost info, maintenance info, rebate info and clarification for how it would work with a traditional hot water heater.
