Your Skin?
How is everyone's skin? Did you find your broke out a lot being pregnant? I am so worried about this being that I am prone to bad skin. So far so good but I am only about 5 weeks...have a long way to go

I broke out with acne bad at the beginning( I had it before I got pregnant but it was under control) but now its gotten better but not totally gone though. Hormones suck!!

I've never had skin issues before, but since getting pregnant I've had lots of break outs plus the bonus of really dry flaky skin.
All at the same time!!
Since there aren't a lot of options for acne treatment that are safe, I've just been using good make-up to cover up.

I have problem skin to begin with - and at the beginning of my pregnancy it was horrendous. . . actually one of the clues I was pregnant was that one day my face just exploded.
Now (almost 24 weeks) my skin is really looking the best it's ever looked - but I've also been drinking about 10 gallons of water a day to ease up the braxton hicks contractions.
It does get better!

Mine is terrible...I took Accutane back in 2000 and then was on birth control for a few years...right after going off the pill...my skin flared up - that was in July. It has gotten worse over the last few weeks. I feel like I'm going through puberty again.

This is my one biggest symptom of pregnancy. I had great skin before being pregnant, and now it has been a mess since the very beginning (I'm 17 weeks now). It literally can look like I have chicken pox!!!  I'm just trying to deal with it as best as I can, because I'm very lucky I didn't have morning sickness or any other complications, but still...my skin hasn't been this bad since maybe 9th grade
I hope it gets better soon!!!

With DD, my skin broke out when i saw the 2 lines on the pg test.
with this pg, it just started at the end of the 1st trimester.
I use proactiv everyday, so my face is clear, but i get breakouts on my back and chest when i am stressed.
I am acne prone too. My acne was worse in my late 20s then it was when i was a teenager. I had NO zits as a teenager! Errr...

I've always had problem skin so from the moment I went off the pill it looked horrendous and I refused to use anything to treat it.
It is getting better now (at 27 weeks), but I can't wait to go back to using prescriptions after the baby is born!

I've always had really clear skin, but for the first 3 months, my skin was awful. Just as a pimple would go away, a few new ones would pop up....gross!
They're finally gone (knock on wood) at 20 weeks.

My skin is horrible now..I was using Proactive for the last 4 years or so and then I had to stop. I have the worst acne of my life!! It wasn't even this bad in High School..oh the joys of hormones LOL

My skin was pretty bad at first. I still have some "issues" (a large pimple or two, then dryness) along my jawline. Then again, my skin has never been super-fabulous!

This was actually one of my first symptoms of being pg...a few days before I got my BFP I noticed my skin was much worse in a very different way. I have little bumps all over my forehead and it looks awful...NEVER had this before! Oh well!
