I delivered my DD 3 1/2 weeks ago. A few days before having her I was experiencing pain in my hand down a little past my wrist. I thought I just slept on it awkwardly.
Fast forward last week I finally went in to see the orthopedic doctor who did not do a X-ray or send me for a MRI diagnosed it as tendinitis from breastfeeding. Remember I said I began feeling this prior to delivery Saturday the discomfort was too much I went over to South Nassau Hospital. The ER doc felt the area that was bothering me and said something isn't right....
I have a SEVERED TENDON! Orthopedist came down and said rehab is not an option I have to have surgery to reattach. 
Just had a csection and now going under the knife.....

That's insane! Wonder how that happened. Sorry you have to have this and now it will probably be impossible to hold DD for a short time after? That's awful.

Sorry you are dealing with this. I had to have my gallbladder removed one week after my c-section...so not fun. Feel better!
