You Tube to Powerpoint
Is there any way to upload a video of you tube and put it on a Powerpoint presentation? Thanks, Scott

Re: You Tube to Powerpoint
You mean insert a video you found on YouTube into a PPP?
I don't think so unless you can download the actual movie clip (i.e. the actual file). YouTube just hosts the movies and you can embed links but that's html code... you can't actually download the movie files...last I checked...and that's what you need for PP.
I'm looking at PP 2002 though right now so I'm not sure if something is different in a later version that would allow you to do it... my guess is if you can't somehow get the actual movie file - no.
ETA: However, you can embed the link to the YouTube video and as long as the computer you will be presenting on has an open internet connection - you can play the video (from YouTube).

Re: You Tube to Powerpoint
Not sure if powerpoint will play back divx files
You want to "download" a video from youtube...
...but use this...
http://vixy.net/
then import media on to a powerpoint...
if you are using your machine, this will work no problems...if you are traveling with a powerpoint file be sure to save any extra files (movie file) and set it up at the pc that you will have a presentation before you start...
