you know you're a "real" parent when...
... when dinner is leftovers to clean out the fridge. all the items that are your favorites are chosen by your 13 y-o kid and you end up eating half a pancake...
and just as your finishing the darn thing, you see your kid THROWING AWAY all the good parts of your favorites (i didn't react fast enough and he threw them out).
kids, gotta love them
