You know what we need?????
A TEACHER'S BOARD!
We could post lesson plans and ask questions and what not. Am I being totally wacko by asking this?
We could also post job openings when we hear about them and certification requirements, etc, etc, etc.
Ok, someone now tell me we already have this and I'll  because I'm blind

I know we have a career board, but like you said, there are so many of us here. I just think that with so many teachers in one spot, we could all be a valuable resource for each other.

Why not use the career board to start those threads on it? That board is so underused and if all the teachers who post on this site start using you can keep all your ideas in one place. It'll be so easy to keep up with info and do searches.
I'm not a teacher, but I think sharing ideas is a great idea! Good luck!
