You know what I've noticed?
Women are so damn long-winded! 
Once a month I have to field all calls that come into our office, asking for guidance on discrimination complaints.
Everytime it's a guy, they ask a pointed question, I answer, finito - 5 minute call.
EVERYTIME it's a woman, she goes into a long-winded history of the world, doesn't make a point at all, and just goes in circles and circles and circles, rambling on and on about god knows what, usually something that has absolutely NOTHING to do with what our office does. And despite my many desperate attempts to explain to her that we don't handle something like that, she just keeps on going.
I just wasted an hour of my day on a call like that. Sheesh!

Total opposite here.
I have a VP that loves, loves, loves to hear himself talk. I spend 1 hour & 23 minutes on the phone with him & summed it up for our boss in a 3 sentence email.

I notice it on here a lot too!!
The ladies go into long drawn-out answers with explanations and everything. Recalling stories to the finest detail.
The guys usually answer in 1 or 2 line responses.
It's the way our minds work. Women are usually more verbal, that's why we always "need to talk". Most men are more direct when they communicate.
