Yogurt or meats?

Which did you start first?

DS is 6 months, Ped told us we could start both, but not sure what to do first.
I am favoring meat, then he will get:

breakfast: fruit
lunch: Veggie
Dinner: meat meal

then when we start yogurt i guess:

breakfast: yogurt
lunch: Veggie or fruit???
Dinner: meat meal? maybe some fruit after??

I don't know why this is so difficult for me to decide!!!!

We started yogurt first, with fruit mixed in. We started meat closer to around 8 months, along with her veggies. Don't stress it- anything goes really!

I don't know the answer but I don't think it really matters. I've given veggies for breakfast when introducing new foods, the baby doesn't know that's not when they're "supposed" to eat them.

I'm just curious, are you not giving cereal/oatmeal? I know these things are constantly changing, I can't even keep up! I'm giving oatmeal but not rice cereal after that whole arsenic thing.

eta- We're still working on fruits/veggies. I'm actually in the process of reading how to puree meats. DS is 7 months.

We did oatmeal for a few weeks when we started solids, he hated it and he gets plenty of iron from formula so we just stopped cause it was more trouble than it was worth for pretty much empty calories!

never did jarred meats either. I started yogurt and meat at 8 months. Yogurt first; then a few days later some ground turkey meat; and then some slow cooked chicken

ETA: Yogurt for us was never a meal; I always sent it to daycare as his snack. His meal as follows:

Breakfast: Oatmeal w/Fruit
Snack-Yogurt or Fruit
Lunch-Veggie
Snack-Yogurt or Fruit
Dinner-Veggie & fruit (now more veggie & meat)
