Yikes... what's up with the hair

on my belly. Yuck! I'm not a hairy person at all and the hair I do get I either shave or get waxed (except the hair on my arms b/c it's so light). Now, I have hair coming in on my belly... Hormones?!Chat Icon

Hormones! Happened to me too... I always feel embarrassed when I go for my sonos! I'm hoping it goes away after I have the baby.Chat Icon

OMG it's so funny that you post this cause just last night DH and I were looking this up online cause I was so appalled by how much hair I have on my stomach!! (You are braver than me. I was too embarrassed to start a thread about it on here)

What I read online is when you're pregnant it causes hair follicles that are normally dormant to start being active. Once you're not pregnant anymore, eventually the hair growth will go back to normal.

Believe me... I didn't want to post about my hairy belly. LOL! Just figured we put a lot worse stuff on here. Yes, it's so annoying and DH and I were laughing I'm gonna have to get my belly waxed. At least I know after the baby it'll be back to normal after the baby... little to no hair. Chat Icon Then it's just working on my belly to get back into shape.

I am a hairly person to begin with. When I saw my belly getting hairier I thought there was something wrong. I asked the doctor and he said it was hormones. I buzz it now b/c I couldn't stand it.
