Re: Yet ANOTHER movement question
Hiccups felt like I had a clock ticking in my belly. It took me awhile to fiind out what that was!

Re: Yet ANOTHER movement question
No one has been able to really answer this for me...I still haven't figured out if the little guy has hiccups...maybe he has and maybe he hasn't I simply can not tell.

Re: Yet ANOTHER movement question
I just felt this for the first time this morning (I'll be 26 weeks tomorrow). I was lying in bed and felt what I thought was kicking but it was very rythmic. After awhile I realized it was hiccups.

Re: Yet ANOTHER movement question
Honestly - I could never distinguish what hiccups felt like - and to prove it - i remember when i went in for a doctors appt to check my babies heartbeat - he told me right away - listen your babies has the hiccups - needless to say I could never tell the difference when she did and didn't.

It feels to me that something is popping in my lower stomach over and over again. And they are a lot faster then we would get them. In can go on for 20 mins or longer

Ditto- they feel like lite rythmic popping. I just knew for some reason and as you go along you can tell the difference between movement/kicks and hiccups.

Re: Yet ANOTHER movement question
With Caiden it definitely felt like a rhythmic tapping that would last a while. I always felt it down in my lower belly. It would be around the same time everyday! I haven't felt it yet with this one though I'm only 22 weeks!

Re: Yet ANOTHER movement question
You can tell when it's hiccups b/c the movement you feel is the exact same over and over and over again, in the same spot and at the same time interval, one right after another. Kicks are more random and much less frequent. It's more the interval and repitition that gives it away. Otherwise, they don't really feel any differently.
It also tends to vibrate throughout your belly, whereas a kick is more central to the spot where it happens.
