Yet another BFN
I had such high hopes with this being my first month of injectables. 3 failed IUI with clomid 1 failed IUI with Follistim. Going back on Monday. I'm having a hard time with this whole unexplained crap! There's sperm and there's eggs, why are they not getting together?!?!?!? I quit smoking, eating right, taking prenatals, acupuncture, peppermint tea, started thyroid meds, instead of 4 glasses of wine a week I just have 1...So hard to think positive when you just feel broken UGH
Anyone get a BFP with +4 IUI???? Insurance doesn't cover IVF so that's not an option yet.

I am so sorry! I know how you feel, I did 6+ follistim iui's and I am not pregnant either! IVF is next month for me.

So sorry you are dealing with this. We are unexplained too. Cycle for IUI #1 starts next week and I'm already assuming it won't work bc of the diagnosis and stats. So frustrating. Hang in there. Something has to work eventually....thats what I'm telling myself.

I'm sorry!! Heading for 3rd IUI myself this week. IVF is not an option for us either. Keep your head up. One of these times it will work(at least that's what I tell myself). You are not alone!!!

I know this doesnt happen for everyone but you would be suprised how many women i have heard had similar storiesto mine. ..... I Was off BC for a year.... Used Ovulation tests and TI for 6 months ......had a HSG followed by a failed iui with clomid... Did the laparoscopy histeroscopy, followed by failed iui on higher dose of clomid. ... Followed by failed iui with Injectables.... DH and I decided enough is enough.....by the way all of this was out of pocket due to my job being through catholic health center. Got everything set up for IVF... Meds,( thank goodness it was donated ). Got a personal loan to pay for it.... Decided to take a month off for mental health to prepare for the long journey. No TI or ovulation tests. And I got pregnant on my own ... I am now almost 18 weeks!! So even though I know it is very frustrating to have no answers to grab onto, try and see the flowers through the weeds. Having diagnosis of unexplained means there is nothing majorly wrong with either of you .... Sometimes thing just happen when life wants them to not when WE feel ready for them. By the way I used to HATE when people said this kind of stuff to me. ... But it is the truth and hopefully one day really soon you will be saying the same thing to another frustrated lady..Hang in there and Good luck to you guys!

I'm so sorry! :( I know there are girls on here who got bfp after 4+ iui I can't say how common it is but I know it's happened. Good luck!

hang in there. I know I will be a hot mess if my IUI fails (which will prob be the outcome) and you are always so strong and positive for everyone else. I am rooting for you! I would speak to the RE and see if there are any factors they are possibly missing.

Even though the other IUIs were medicated with clomid, I wouldn't count those now. Start counting from the first injectable cycle. You have one down. Hopefully the next one is it

Thank you everyone for your support! For some reason, this month really threw me for a loop. Didn't get much better when I saw the RE today. He said usually is you're going to get pregnant from IUI it happens 3rd, 4th, 5th attempt. He said we will try it one more time :( Again, no real reason. He said there are movements/waves/contractions that occur during ovulation that happen from the uterus and travel up the tube to catch the egg and in some women that motion isn't strong enough or sometimes not even there. He said that "could" be a reason. So...we shall see what March brings. If not then my only choice is IVF. Praying for the money tree to sprout up in my backyard LOL.
