yet another BF question
How often do you nurse and how long on each breast? I was told 15 min on each would be good every two hours. He seems like he could go on forever though sometimes.

In the beginning I did 30 mins on the first side, burped, changed her, and then let her eat as much as she wanted from the 2nd...sometimes she would only latch on for 5 mins sometimes none.Then I would start with that side the next time.

The LC I consulted said let the baby end the feeding, meaning as long as the baby wants! Once the baby breaks the latch, burp and offer the other side for as long as they want. She said they don't only nurse for food, but for comfort and bonding also.
