Yellow Jackets in my house!!!!!!!!
Everyday I kill 3-5 yellow jackets crawling on the inside of my kitchen window. So yesterday we poked all the eaves, shutters, and shingles on the outside and nothing! I looked for a nest on the window frames and curains, nothing. Someone I work with said they could be in my walls!!!! Ugh!
Well after DH found another 3 just this morning we are getting an exterminator in to take a look around (of course, this is where my ofice is and I have to move EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Anyone ever have this problem before?

Yes, we just went through the exact same thing.
We converted to gas, and Natl Grid installed the meter in front of the house in the bushes. We believe they disturbed a nest.
Luckily, they gravitate towards the light, so we were killing them on the screen of the window.
We did call an exterminator. They werent able to find the source of the problem, but whatever they did, we havent seen one since.

We just went through the exact same thing, except the yellow jackets were in my bedroom!!!
We had Arrow Exterminators come on Monday and $461 later, the yellow jackets are gone.

holy moly Ryan...i hate bees, yellow jackets, or any form thereof...

Same thing as us. They were entering the house through a gap in the roof tile and built a nest btw the wall and roof of our bedroom. We had one exterminator come in that did nothing, so we called Arrow. They came in, found the bee source, climbed on the roof and puntured needle holes in our bedroom and killed them all. Haven't had a problem since.
