YAY! WE GOT NEW NEIGHBORS!

the couple that was there have been split up for a looong time and let the house go to hell. no excuse why the lady couldn't do anything being that she was out of work. then in the end she got a live in BF, which is fine, but when he did less then she did, it did nothing but annoy me as the trees were overgrown and the grass was up to my knees.

i finally had to call the soon to be ex-husband to complain about the "curb appeal" of the house.

so... i am so looking forward to the young blood and renos that i hope to come.

even though i am leaving too, i am so happy for all my neighbors that we have newbies!!

AND! they have a two year old which i am psyched about because there are no babies on this part of the block!!!! yippee!!

I understand your excitement completely! We had an house next to us where the couple split, no one did any work or maintenance on the house, but it finally sold and a nice young guy moved in that is trying to fix it up! At least he mows the lawn! Now I just need to get someone to buy the house across the street that has been empty for at least 3 1/2 years (since we moved in). The children are finally getting the point that no one wants to spend a fortune on a house that needs tons of work!

Amen! I feel your happiness. I have a neighbor with an unsightly property (to say the very least!!) and they finally sold it too. I cannot wait for the moving truck to drive up.
