Yay or nay?
I saw these shoes, tried them on and I strangely like them  . My orthodics also fit well in them, which is a feat in itself.
Are they too strange? You can't see the colour so well, but it is a military green. They're by Camper and I'd use them for an everyday running errands type of shoe.

I hear you about Camper shoes. I think you either love or hate them. I don't think they are that popular in the US.

I only know about them because they have a really great store a few blocks from my apt on 5th ave. Never heard of them before I wandered in there last year! They have so many cute styles. If these don't work how about some of there flats? I saw really cute ones with flowers on them a few days ago. I'll see if I can find a pic....

They are completely NOT my style and but I am strangely drawn to them. I think they are pretty nice and even, dare I say, elegant for what they are. If you have issues with you feet, and I draw that conclusion base on your comment about wearing orthotics, I think they are a really great choice because they are basically comfort shoes with a flare... 
So, basically, i say Yay!
