xpost to pregnancy-did anyone have implantation bleeding? may be tmi
Hi all. My cousin just called me and said she isn't sure if she's pregnant. Her baby is just a little older than my ds so around 6 months old. She is exclusively breastfeeding and hasn't had a cycle yet. She and her dh have been careful (so she says) but she spotted very faint pink for 2-3 hours yesterday then it stopped. She called me that it just started again and it is only there when she wipes. she took a test last night and it was negative. I never had implantation bleeding so I have no idea but for those of you who did, does this sound like it? would it come and go?

I did! I also had a nosebleed out of nowhere, and I read that is implantation as well.

I spotted once early on and that was it. not even a day I think.
could just be weirdness going on with her cycle if she's breastfeeding.

I did. Exactly one week from when AF was due. But it wasn't light pink, it was dark red/brown.

I had implantation bleeding but it was brown.

Could also be estrogen breakthrough bleeding.
If the test is negative I wouldn't worry too much.
I'd just test again in a few days to be sure.

If she's been very careful and the test is negative it's very possible it's just the start of AF, since her symptoms are consistent with that too.
