Thread on Finance Board re: New Law in Budget Bill, (eff 2012)

Soon to be official. This is the headline under section 502 of the newly drafted budget bill.

For all those students in graduate school who were able to secure federal subsidized loans in the previous years, post July 1, 2012, those days are gone; illustrates the additional financial burden to be placed on graduate students. (page 71 of below link)

The deal also takes out incentives for the timely repayment of student loans.
