Southside has private rooms...but you can't reserve before you go into labor...as soon as you go into labor though, make sure that you keep on telling your nurse that you want a private room.  You have to pay for it, but for me it was very worth it.  And I had a fabulous experience at Southside  |

 Yes but you have to share the bathroom which isn't a problem unless you have a neighbor like I just had and she kept leaving the door locked
   
 But then again they are opening the new wing at the end of the month and all rooms are supposed to have private bathrooms.

 I went on a tour of the hospital this past Sunday and they said they are moving into the new wing on 9/29. I hope so!!
