Re: XPost from Multiples - Breastfeeding Twins
I only had 1 baby; but I have a friend who BF her twins. I would also suggest the MBF double. That pillow was a life saver for me with just 1. My friend would nurse 1 baby at a time; but always felt like she had a kid on her at some point; so she started trying to do both at a time. We both attend LLL meeings where they showed her how to hold them. Some girls also recommended the boyfriend/husband pillow. That big pillow you rest back on with the arms attached. Some how that is supposed to help with the support required to hold the two babies comfortably. I would def. suggest LLL to help you or any LC to get the babies into position to nurse. If you do them 1 at a time; make sure you offer each baby a new breast. Not feeding from the same one (my friend made that mistake) this way one isn't getting the foremilk while the other gets the hindmilk. But you probably already know about that from feeding your 1st.
Good Luck & Congratulation!
