XP: So I met the famous Dr Braverman
and what everyone on this site says about him is 100% true.
We went yesterday and he spent about an hour with us going over all the possibilities and ways to treat them. I have to admit, it was overwhelming hearing all these things. Im happy to be on the road to answers but scared to death something is seriously wrong with me
He did ease my fears though. I think Im just being paranoid because I never thought it would come to this. They took more blood yesterday (25 vials this week) my sister asked me if I had any blood left They also took blood from DH and we are being sent out for more.
I have to say, I definitely think I am in the best hands that I can be in. He is VERY thorough; its going to be a lot of testing but that only means we should get a lot of answers.
I should start to get results within the next 2 weeks. I will definitely keep you ladies posted!!

Re: XP: So I met the famous Dr Braverman
I just wanted to add....I know you said you're nervous about finding something wrong. But please DONT be upset if he does find some sort of issue. Just about all these issues/problems can be treated but they have to be diagnosed FIRST...know what I mean? The treatment could be as simple as taking a baby aspirin a day. For example....I was diagnosed as having a clotting disorder. Dr. B treated it with Lovenox and baby aspirin...and now I'm 5 months pregnant

Thank you and congratulations!!
It was just scary to hear all the possibilities. I dont know if this makes sense but if the problem is me, I can accept that. Its the thought of there being an issue of compatibility between my DH and I that has me freaked out. Even though he did say all these things would be treatable I just always assumed if there was a problem, it was something with me. I dont know...I dont want to jump to conclusions since we havent got any results yet.

I completely understand what you're saying....I think its natural to assume the worst. I do that all the time myself. But keep focusing on what he said......almost all these things are treatable. And jJust think on the flip side - you may have a really easy time getting pregnant and staying pregnant once you get started with Dr. B

I felt the exact same way when we with him last week. I think we were in his office for literally 1 1/2 if not longer going through everything. I'm happy he is very proactive. Hang in there BTW I stopped in the office yesterday to pic up scripts around 10:30 or so...were you there?

Yes I was there. I had an 11 am appt but we got there at about 10:35 or so. Maybe it wasnt you but I do remember someone coming in and saying they were just picking up scripts. Was that you? I was sitting by the front desk next to my DH.
