XMAS brunch - enough food?

for 11 adults, 1 teen and 2 toddlers -

scrambled eggs
pancakes
sausage
cinnamon rolls
ruggelah (did i butcher that spelling? ha)
choco chip scones
rasp crumb bars
bagels
(sister is bringing homemade donuts)
fresh fruit salad
cheese platter

OJ, apple juice, coffee

now I dont have a TON of everything. all of the pasteries/cookie type items I have enough of each for 8 people figuring not everyone is going to eat everything?

would you add anything else?

Re: XMAS brunch - enough food?

IF I added ANYTHING, it would be bacon. Or possibly overnight french toast but honestly, I think you're solid Karin.

How many eggs and how many bagels?

Re: XMAS brunch - enough food?

are you frying or scrambling the eggs?

I think I might be a bad gauge for food though- my family are animals. I do a brunch for my mom and there are about 30 of us and I make 6 doz eggs, 72 sausages, 3 lbs of bacon and 3 doz bagels and it ALL goes.

I also don't do any of the sweet stuff for them though either. Honestly I think you're FINE. I think you'll have MORE than enough

ok, I have 30 sausages so that seems right on and ill make all the eggs (scrambled). i guess we could get 18 bagels and then all the other stuff. pancakes im not worried about, i have enough bisquik to feed china. i hope its enough Chat Icon if not, i guess they wont come back next year Chat Icon

Looks great I would add a few extra eggs just in case! For next time, bacon in the oven is so much easier then pan frying, tastes just as good too!!!
