X post My 2nd hello...with a ?

Hey girls Im new to this site as well as new to TTC!!! So just wanted to say hello and wish everyone the best! :)

I also have a ? My . isnt due until Tues but Ive been so anxious to test so I did just now and got a very faint (+) 1st response was the brand I used. So I got all excited and ran out to go and buy a digital- ept and now the digital says negative...?? The 1st response says it detects your . 6 days before your missed . and the ept says 5 days??? Has this happened to anyone? Just wondering but I will def be testing again since I bought the 3 pack :)

Testing with your FMU (first morning urine) is the best time to test.

I only used digitals, and after 2 BFN I got a BFP at 13DPO (5 days before AF was due).

I replied on the TTC board post.

but def test again with FMU.

don't listen to the number of days written on the boxes.. they don't mean much.. it's all advertising to get you to buy their test. some tests are more sensitive than others.. i posted sites that list how sensitive hpt's are on the other thread.

I had a SLIGHT positive with 2 different tests... one was the FRER and the other was a blue plus one... i think a cvs test.

then I had a definite PREGNANT on a digital test... it was a more sensitive digital test though.. I THINK the cvs brand digital but I don't remember right now. Just look at the sites I posted on the other thread to figure out which test to use.
