Hi Mommies to be:
I just asked the BTDT moms on the parenting board about registering for the Bundle Me vs. Bundle Me Lite.
I thought some of you might also be interested in the responses so here is the link.

I registered for both since the Bundle is supposed to work for up to a year - I figured if it's too warm in March/April then I'll use it in the fall or next winter.

After reading the advice from the moms on the parenting board I decided to just go with the Lite for now. From the BRU website it looks like they make toddler ones too which fit over strollers. Maybe I'll get one of those next fall or winter if I'm out walking with the baby.

I would probably suggest getting both. You can still use it in the winter time. Don't forget they are in the infant seat until they are at least a year. We used the regular bundle me with DD and it was awesome. I agree that you don't need it for the summer but once October hits you'll probably want the heavier one.

Not all kids are in the infant seat that long. My son was out of it at 2 months.
I say get the Lite - and then later on down the road - if you feel you need the other one you can get that.
ETA: the reg. Bundle Me is so warm - that until it gets really cold out you will prob. just use a blanket anyway.
