No recommendations on hotels because we stay at my in-laws house but I just wanted you to know that we just went there this past Saturday and it was great. My advice to you though is look at the map and rides before you go so you don't waste time trying to figure out where everything is and what rides are appropriate. We found it to be a little confusing except for the one area that's meant for younger children.
The place is awesome though. And you can't beat the price. Even the food is very inexpensive for amusement park standards.
