WWYD? Wedding related
We just found out my cousin who is a Marine is getting married in Apri upstate (5 hours away)l---its kind of a last minute thing as they got engaged and want to get married while they are both in the States. Our families are super close and of course I would like to go. Kids are invited, but its from 7-11 at night--the venue is not that close to a hotel either. Do we go and bring the kids to the wedding? Do DH and I take turns at the hotel? Do we try to find a babysitter we have never met before upstate? Her sister said she could ask a friend for us, but I highly doubt this will fly with my 2 year old. I don't know what to do.
eta we have a 2 year old whose bedtime is btwn 7-7:30 and a 7 week old

Would your DC sleep in a stroller? I notice if there's a lot going on DS will stay up later b/c he wants to be with the action then fall asleep in a pac-n-play or stroller. He's also only 8 months.
If you don't want to bring your child what about your IL's watching for the night?

Any chance you can leave them home and have your IL's, friends, etc watch them? If it were my kids I don't think I would bring them unless I had no other options. Mine go to bed around 8ish and there is no way I could get Luke to sleep in a stroller these days (in fact I don't think either of mine would)

Re: WWYD? Wedding related
can someone from the other side of the family or close friend watch them overnight (or 2) in your home this way they have the comforts of their own crib/bed?
