WWYD wedding question
Going to a wedding tonight church is in syosset rh is in woodbury. Church ends at 6 rh doesn't start till 730. Rh is 10 minutes away from church. I live in suffolk so can't go home and come back. Do you usually head over to the reception early and hang out there?

Re: WWYD wedding question
you will be surprised how LITTLE time there winds up being in between. After the ceremony ends, you still have to wait for their exit, etc. and you might stand around talking to people. Once everyone leaves the ceremony location, you all wind up getting to the reception site at the same time, so you won't seem that early.

Agreed. That's really not that huge of a timeframe. I know many weddings where there have been like a 5 hour gap.

Re: WWYD wedding question
It will probably work out to about an hour between venues. I drive around and maybe grab a soda at a drive thru. I still try to get there around the official start time.

I agree by the time you finish the recieving line, watch some pics in front of the church, you will get to the reception just a little early and it won't be an issue.
What a gorgeous day for a wedding

What the other ladies said. It won't be THAT much time really. I'd maybe stop at a Starbuck's and get a cup of coffee, but that's about it.

This is exactly what we would do. I think Rare is supposed to have a nice bar and that's in Syosset on the way to Woodbury on Jericho.
