WWYD? MIL & DH related

My ILs were in town staying with us for several days.

My mil told my mother that she has emphysema and my mother, of course told me... My DH continuosly asked my MIL why she was coughing with no direct answers. He is very concerned. He suspects that I know something.

Should I tell and make it obvious that my mother told her secret. Its not like they are close, so it makes no sense why she told my mother, unless she wanted me to tell. I am afraid that my dh is going to be really angry if he realizes I was keeping this secret.

I did not tell the entire time they were here because I knew there would be a scene. But what now? I feel like she wanted me to find ou or why would she tell my mother????? I do not get it.

I do not fully trust my mil's motives for telling. We have a little bit of history, but I am trying to take the highroad.

When my dh blows up...my two kids have to deal with it. My ILS are the only thing really argue about.

HELP seriously needed. WWYD?

I would tell him. Tell him you found out from your mom and waited to give mil the chance to tell him herself. Now since she left it is obvious she is not telling him and you think he deserves to know.

Call her up and tell her she has one week to come clean to DH. If she doesn't.....

I would call her and let her know you know!
Then, hand DH the phone!

I would call her and tell you know and don't feel comfortable keeping it from DH. If she doesn't tell, you do.
