WWYD: exposure to chemicals at work
For the next four weekends my job will be spraying to get rid of bedbugs they have been nice enough to relocate me to a different floor.
However, I will not have access to a kitchen where I normally use the fridge, microwave and water cooler.
Do you think, since they are being so nice to accomodate me it would look bad if I came up once or twice a day to use the kitchen? Do you think it is safe to do so?
Or, should I just start buying food/water here (from a downstairs cafeteria) for this month. In order to do THIS I would have to ask for special permission to run down through out the day.

Re: WWYD: exposure to chemicals at work
What do we work in the same building?! This JUST happened to me on Monday! Our floor was sprayed and I couldn't be relocated to another floor so I chose to stay home the day after they sprayed. They sprayed Monday night and I worked from home Tuesday. I was still really uncomfortable going to work, but my OB said "nobody really sprays with anything very toxic anymore, so it should be fine" Yet eating a ham sandwich is dangerous If they put you on another floor, I would stay off the floor until the spraying is done.
ETA-The spraying was for bed bugs too....sooooo gross!

Thanks for answering and EWWWWWW!
How gross are bedbugs? I strip my Bed every Saturday and check the whole mattress - I swear if I get them I am going to freak out!! I am so itchy!
Good Luck, hope this works for you - this is our THIRD ROUND.
