WWYD - bassinet?
we planned on using the pack n play in our bedroom when the baby is born instead of putting her in her crib right away. but i just remembered that my SIL had a bassinet when my niece was born, so i asked her if she still had and if we could use it. she said they lent it to a friend awhile ago and never got it back and she didnt want to ask for it cause it was a little beat up after 6 babies have gone through it. so she said her and my brother would like to buy us a bassinet.
i kinda feel bad cause i didnt expect them to offer to buy us one and that wasn't my intention at all. the other day, my SIL was saying how all the big stuff from my registry was gone already - so i think they might be looking for something to buy us. should i just let them get it for me? around how much do they cost? i dont want them spending a lot of money since it will only be used for a short time.

Re: WWYD - bassinet?
Let them get it. You'll appreciate the baby being level with your bed in the middle of the night, especially if you intend to breast feed. You may want to get one that is like a co-sleeper or something. Look into them and then add it to your registry for them. You won't be sorry!
ETA: You can get a nice one for around $100, which is probably about what they'd want to spend anyway.
