wth is going on here
My electric bill is 247.00 this month and I am in a ONE BEDROOM , I don't get it

Oy! Do you pay each month? I thought if you paid monthly you were on a budget?? Do you keep your air on all day? What temp?

we pay each month (it's con Edison) I have the air on from 8PM to 10 AM and keep the temp pretty high btwn 72 and 74. I'm shocked at this bill 
now I am ready for the fall 
I should see if con ed has budget billing

I keep my AC all day and night , I have a 3 b/r ranch and it is about $200 ish . I would freak bhy that bhill

Mine through LIPA, for two months was $562... we have a two story home. So it sounds pretty high for your bill. I'd question it !

Do you have central air or through the window AC's?
DH and I have a 1 BM as well, but we only have 1 AC right now in the bedroom (through the window). It's on pretty much all day because we have different work schedules. Our electric bill was $150 this month.
