Wrong Due Date?
Does any one know if they can be wrong about your due date? I didn't know when my LMP was because I *thought* I was having my period even though I was pregnant. I just found my calender and it said my period was on Dec. 7th, which would make my due date 2 weeks before what it is now. Could they be 2 weeks off? I asked my midwife before and she said ultrasounds are pretty much dead on, but I've heard that they can be up to 2 weeks off.

Don't forget that a due date is just an estimation, a pregnancy can last for up to 42 weeks...so it is possible.

yes, my due date was changed 3 times and she still came 2 weeks early.

I have 3 due dates. So, they can definately be off. I pretty much knew when my LMP was, but at the first sono, I was behind what I should have been, then the next one, I was still behind but more ahead than he originally thought.
Anyway, my due dates are as follows:
From Dr. from beginning, November 16
From technician at hospial at Level II, November 2
From Dr. as of 3 weeks ago, November 9
basically, he told me I am due at the end of October/beginning of November. 
Gee, thanks Doc, I could have figured that out myself.

Don't be nervous. I just made sure I was prepared 100% with everything for her arrival a month before, just in case and I'm glad I was.
My original due date: May 14th
Changed to: May 2
changed to April 29
she came:April 18th

she came:April 18th
 I would have to be prepared by October 16th. I definately do NOT see that happening.
Although, it would be very nice to meet him sooner, so it's a catch 22

They have changed my due date around a lot as well -- not drastically but enough to annoy me .. to the point when people ask I said "I'm due mid October" and that is that
I am fairly sure as to when I ovulated (I was charting and using the clear blue monitor) but since my periods were always irregular, they gave me a date initially that I KNEW was way off --
at my first appointment I started with an October 4th due date..
Then they switched to October 14th..
After my 12 wk ultrascreen, they moved me to October 10th
After my Level 2, the perinatologist moved me to October 8th..
Everytime I go to my OB they feel as though I should go by the earlier dates, but they still offically have me marked down as "October 14" so that is what I go by --
I haven't had a growth sono yet but I'm sure they'll give me another date when I have that done in a week!
