Wrapping paper: how much do I need?

I just bought the favors for my DD birthday party.
I am trying to match the wrapping paper to my DD birthday theme (winter "one"derland) and i found pink snowflake wrapping paper. the problem is its expensive and i don't want to over buy....

i have 15 favors i need to wrap.
each favor is 4"Hx 3"W

Does anyone know how to calculate or figure out how much i would need?

I can choose from 6ft, 15ft, 30ft and 40ft.

Can you return what you don't use?

If you want to keep the cost of wrapping paper down, what if you wrapped half of the favors in the snowflake paper and the rest in a coordinating plain color -pink, silver, white? Just an idea. But I have no idea how to calculate how much you need, sorry!

if i had a lot of favors to wrap this would make sense. but there are only 15 so its more cost effective to buy one wrapping paper roll

What if you wrap one in newspaper to see how much it takes and then multiply by 15 and round up a little just in case.

If it's a box, what is the other dimension?

I would buy the 15 ft to be safe - it's more than enough but, I think the 6 ft might be a bit too small (and if something goes wrong...)

Worse comes to worse, you can use some to wrap something else.

Another idea is to just use pink paper and tape/glue a snowflake on the top of the wrapped box.

Yes, or get the paper type (not shiny) wrapping paper and stamp on snowflakes...
